Hello!
I have 5 high torque Nema 17 stepper motors (https://www.oyostepper.es/category-6-b0 ... MA-17.html) with a step angle of 1.8 degrees (200 steps/rev).
Each phase draws 2A, allowing a holding torque of 45Ncm (63.7 oz-in).
I am running a ramps 1.4 board with 5 A4988 stepper motor driver modules on it (with heatsink).
::: Question :::
I have spent a lot of time trying to determine what the correct voltage should be for the driver based on my motor type.
I know how to test and adjust the voltage, but everyone online has different values and I am really confused now.
I ask this question because I have done almost everything I can think of to stop the extruder from skipping steps... no jams, skipping very randomly, very high off the bed (150mm).
So now I'm going to start adjusting the voltage and need some help.
